200A DC Welder Generator Honda GX390 13HP Engine. This Harrington Spitfire XJ200 200A DC Welder generator is in very good condition and excellent working order. It is powered by the industry standard Honda GX series engine. None of my items are Ex-Hire and all come from private ownership. This item is in used condition and as such does have some minor cosmetic wear and tear such as paint missing to the frame, tool tray, etc. Purely aesthetic though as it is in excellent working order. Starts first pull every single time and runs sweetly with no hesitation, hunting, undue rattling or smoke. Power is switchable and delivered via either x1 230V 16A outlet or x1 115V 16A outlet all protected by individual thermal trips(untested).

It has just been serviced and had all of the following done. The majority of external parts have been removed to enable chaff, stones and other deposits that would have a detrimental effect on the engine's performance to be cleared from the engines cooling fins.

As this is an air cooled engine it is an important factor in ensuring optimum performance. Oil change, new spark plug, and new air filter. Air armature gap has been checked and set and valve clearances have then been checked, adjusted and torqued to specifications. Alternator brushes and recoil starter cord have both been checked as good.

Complete carb strip down and clean including pilot and main jets, emulsion tube, carb body, vents, etc. Along with all new gaskets and a new tap seal. Static governor adjustment was also checked and adjusted as required. It has also had a replacement exhaust and replacement genuine Honda fuel tank purely because I had enough better quality spare items on the shelf. I have also fitted a new on/off switch and.

X1 new welding panel socket. I have probably done more as well, but this is as much as I have noted. I do have my own set, minimum, service schedule to follow, hence all of the above. The engine was then run up and all carb adjustments checked/adjusted as required.

It was then load tested on the 230V outlet up to 17A (4000W) and the engine performed exactly as it should. Output on the 115V outlet was also checked as good, but not tested on load. This should be perfectly ok anyway as both of the 115V windings form the complete 230V winding. Welding voltage output was also confirmed as per specification. Welding functions were then also tested with various rod sizes and across both range settings and it performs extremely well indeed. Sensible price IMHO as equivalent with wheel kit now.
